If you are a ribbon hoarder like me, you have probably got plenty of these:
Well, it's time to put them to good use! Cover your spools in festive patterned paper, hot glue together on a chipboard circle, add embellishments and ribbon, and voila:
Materials:
Circle punches, scallop punch
Glue gun
Empty ribbon spools
Glitter
Embellishments (I used snowflake confetti)
Patterned Paper: Hambly, Sassafrass Lass, Ki Memories

Need a simple idea for a cute gift for a friend or family member? I picked up this wood box at Michael's for $6.00 and used my 50% off coupon. So box, $3.00. The rest of the stuff I already had! Most of us have paints, patterned paper, rubons and some 3-D sticky embellies....and that's all I used here!
Items Used:
5-Drawer Wood Box
Me & My Big Ideas Patterned Papper
Licorice FolkArt Acrylic Paint
Making Memories Paints
K&Co Felt Flowers
Misc Rubons (Daisy's on the top)
All you have to do is paint the box, wait for it to dry. Adhere paper to back of box and inside drawers. Embellish as desired!! Simple, right?!

Ok so I'm a few days late in posting this
Materials Required:
24 small matchboxes
Christmas themed patterned paper - I used Little Yellow Bicycle, Creative Imaginations and Swiss Dot Cardstock from Bazzill
24 metal brads
Christmas themed Chipboard pieces - I used Sheers from Little Yellow Bicycle
approx 2ft ribbon or rick rack for the drawer handles
Two 4x4inch squares of thick chipboard-I used Coasters from Apple Bees
Number rubons or stickers
Ink
Strong double sided tape
Based on a Box I saw by Tracy Hudson.
It was super fun and simple to do.
You'll make 8 stacks of 3 Matchboxes ensuring to get a good stick on them with double sided tape. Then arrange them and adhere together. Cover all areas with your PP's and then attach the box to the top and bottom chipboard pieces.
The boxes are small but they fit small treats such as Dove Promises perfectly!

I don't know about you, but I'm all about the Christmas tree. I have a pretty large tree collection...button tree, feather tree, shiny glitter tree, glass ball tree, etc. So obviously, I couldn't resist this project when I saw it while blog hopping.
To make these cute trees, gather up your scissors, four favorite papers, ribbons or trims and tree toppers.
1. Print a template for the cones from The Small Object site here:
http://thesmallobject.com/stenopad/wordpress/?p=822
2. Cut your papers using the templates.
3. Glue ribbons and trims to the arch of each template or cut with decorative scissors. Cut your trims a little big bigger so they overlap nicely when rolled into cones.
4. Shape into cones and glue ends together.
5. Stack cones on top of each other.
6. Add a tree topper if desired.
7. Enjoy your new cute trees!

I love all the new thickers and the bright colors. I did this page and I just loved the contrast and how the title stood out. Using black and white, I could see how any bright color or glitter thicker would pop!

Hey gals! So I got these Jenni Bowlin cards in all colors, shapes, season etc. I have a hard time using them on LO's. Then it hit me! Make a mini! I am sure someone has already done this, I am not so bright. I thought I would share and maybe inspire you to use them up! Happy Thanksgiving!

Are you hosting Thanksgiving this year? Do you want some original place cards for your guests?
Well here you go!!
Supplies used were as follows:
-Foam Rounds
-Maya Road Chipboard Trees
-Basic Grey PP
-Bazzill Cardstock
-Toothpicks
-Hot glue
-Adhesive
-Ranger Puff Paints
-Cats Eye Ink
-Prima Flowers
-Queen and Co Brads
-Fall Buttons
-Giga Scalloped Circle punch
These little guys were so fun to make, and I did all three in about 45 minutes.
First I took my Marvy Giga punch and cut 6 circles, you will need 2 per place card so adjust accordingly for your needs.
I adhered them to my Foam rounds using my ATG adhesive gun, but you could use almost anything you have on hand!
Next I used Ranger Puff paints on the tree "Trunks" I placed a small amount in the center of the trunk and used a paint brush to apply it to the rest of the tree. I used two coats to get a nice shimmery and 3-D design.
While the trunks were drying I adhered the tree "bushes" to the Basic Grey PP. Cut them out and used the Cats Eye Ink to add dimension and also as a tool to hide the tiny imperfections of me cutting them out!
By the time I finished with the bushes the trunks were dry. I adhered the trunk to the front of the bush using my ATG Gun.
Then I placed 2 toothpicks on the back of the tree using hot glue so that there was 1/2" of the toothpick exposed on the bottom for placement into the foam round.
I cut out and covered the back of the tree with Cardstock and then poked the toothpicks into the foam base so that the tree would stand up.
Lastly, I used my dymo labeler to put our names on the round base. And finished it off with some twine and Primas.
Use what you have on hand and embellish these little guys to perfection for your family!
I've also got mine in a little cluster in the middle of the table as a small centerpiece since we won't be home to use them for Thanksgiving.

I made this sign for the door in our kitchen using cute Crate die-cut paper, Little Yellow Bicycle rub-ons, American Crafts flair, thickers and ribbon. Why "Merry Christmas" in Spanish, you ask? Simple--I had already used up the R's and S's from this much loved pack of red Jewelry Box Thickers, and I *had* to use them on this sign, so...time to get creative! How else can you say Merry Christmas?

So this project has been in the work for years! Yes, you read right, years! But when I came across the switchplates in my stash I thought what a perfect project to tackle, and what fun it would be at our holiday crop! This one I themed for my trip to DC this summer, but the one we'll be making at our ScrapGal crop will be holiday themed. Fun fun!
Products you'll need....
Two switchplates (they don't have to be white like mine, silver looks great too!)
Wet adhesive
Dry adhesive
One large chipboard sheet
A set of patterned paper, your choice in theme
Coordinating embellishments of your choice!
Can't wait!
